Mahogany wood, white led light

173 x 25 x 25 cm

Self portrait (Columna), from the series “Estructuras sociables”, reproduce a society that is designed, built and manifested through its architecture.

By using the firmness of the material, the fragility of the form and the scale, it generates a presence that is rather human than inert.

The light, as a representation of the soul, is born from the core of the structure and makes its way to the outside through a crack in the wood, showing its true strength and intensity.
